Not only did the shop refuse to smog the Volvo due to the oil leak, the mechanic is convinced that there’s a misfire, which is not unreasonable.
I’ve spent the past week chasing the misfire, which I suspect is related to the, you guessed it, miss at precisely 3000 rpm in 4th gear. Turbobricks & other sites (cleanflametrap) have pointed to it being a fuel issue.
Tried the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and what do you know? Silence from the in-tank pump. Just a bit of arcing but nothing when I put power to the fuse hole.
Time to get familiar with petrol! Bentley manual can’t come soon enough
